Outdoor Community Theatre
The Kindleberger Summer Festival of the Performing Arts has a history which is as captivating as the plays staged at the park during the past 37 years. And it began simply as "a play in the park and a passion.”
Patrons have returned year after year, drawn by the Festival's remarkable tradition of producing exceptional professional productions, accessible to all. They are also delighted by the serene location in Kindleberger Park.
There is a joy in creating the magic of live outdoor community theater. The bonds that are formed between players and audience. The unison laughter of a relaxed group of Festival goers on a summer evening in the park. The sunset over Scout Hill. The lights. The appealing smells from the food vendor carts. Friends, family, and neighbors who gather together for an annual tradition. The child discovering theatre. The smiles and thank-yous. These joys bring us back to Kindleberger Park again and again.
We hope that you will join us for another summer of magic at The Stage.
